Just received an email saying I was awarded a scholarship that will pay for my entire 2014-15 academic year of graduate school in the MBA program at UNR.
I’m writing this holding back tears in my eyes & crazy joy running through my veins, so please bare with me. *& please, please, PLEASE read this all the way through.*
For months, I’ve been dreading the fall 2014 semester at UNR. Not because the classes in the MBA program are too tough, or because work is an overload, or because I don’t think I’m ready – but because I’m taking on a full-time class load (9 credits), which means full-time payment.
Graduate credits cost a buttload & with me getting braces soon & doing a lot of travel this summer, I’ve been wondering how I’m going to manage my finances to pay for all of this.
So I contemplated going for a lesser class load in school or perhaps pushing back my braces even more, just to look for ways to make ends meet.
But I made a decision recently to just go for it all. Just go for it. I wasn’t sure how I was going to pay everything, but I knew that God had gotten me this far, and he wouldn’t leave me hanging now.
I was uncertain & definitely shaken.
So to get this notice today was a direct message from God. He’s telling me that so long as I am carrying out His will, working in His plan, and moving into His calling for me, He will provide the way.
He will provide.
I asked you to read this all the way through, not because I care how many likes or comments this gets, but to share the joy of God’s grace & remind you that, as people, a lot of times, we limit ourselves.
We limit ourselves by asking, “How am I going to pay for this?” or “Where am I going to find time to do that?” or “How am I going to do this?” Whether it’s an opportunity in higher education, an unplanned circumstance, an undecided future, or just an uncertain tomorrow – we limit ourselves because we focus too much on the “how are we going to get this done” part instead of realizing that God will take care of the “how.”
He will provide.
Shoot for the moon. Be greater than you’ve ever imagined. Don’t limit yourself. Work through God & He will equip your every need. Dream crazy enough & they just might start to come true.
God will provide.
“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ … your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.” – Matthew 6:31-32
Whether you believe in God or not, just know that He believes in you..
