Many of us are quick to recognize God – or your personal higher being – when things are going well in our life, but we fail to recognize Him when things aren’t going how we imagined them.
We feel like God forgets about us when things are going poorly.
But what we need to realize is God is always steering the ship, during the good times AND the bad. When we’re going through a storm, He’s the one guiding the winds in our sails. And trust that every obstacle we encounter along the way during the tough part of our journey is pre-planned & will make our moment of glory & blessing that much greater.
God has us in the palm His hand at ALL TIMES. Having faith in Him means knowing & trusting him to guide you in the good times & the bad.
This is one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned throughout my walk in faith. Reading daily devotional books like “Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence” has made my walk through faith much stronger and resilient.
I definitely recommend this book if you need something quick to get you started every morning and remind you of the guided path you’re on.
Something else I regularly do is check out this Pinterest board when I need some bible verse revitalization. If religion is not your cup of tea, that’s OK. But if you are walking with God and need daily reminders of his ever-present grace, those two resources above are tremendous.
