The world lost a tremendous person this morning.
I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Scott, but above anything else, he was a symbol that we could be who we truly were in whatever profession, career or future we had in front of us. We could bring our background, our culture, our upbringing into what we did every single day. We did not have to change our fundamental persona & characteristics simply because we had a certain job. We did not have to become a different person simply because we entered into a new environment with different cultural ‘rules.’
There was a way to do a great job, still be yourself, and intertwine both – and Mr. Scott did it beautifully..
